I studied economics and math, and before J-PAL most of my work was analysis.

• Chicago Fed

  As a research assistant at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, I automated municipal bond market monitoring and researched transaction costs, liquidity, and market stress.

• Senior thesis

  At UVA, I studied how exposure to automation risk relates to unionization. It was awarded highest distinction. Read the story

  I'd like to go on to graduate study in economics.

  A short strategy game about getting an AI tool that works to change lives inside real institutions.

  Small-group matching for the MIT community.

I'm most interested in AI for low-resource settings, especially in low- and middle-income countries, and in what it takes to scale what works. All of these are still under construction, and I'd welcome anyone who wants to test one, give feedback, or build something together.
