I study how evidence can guide new technology.
I use economic reasoning and quantitative evidence to help turn fast-moving technology into thoughtful, actionable policy.
I'm an AI Policy Associate at J-PAL Global, working at the intersection of impact evaluation, emerging technology, and evidence-informed policy. My focus is a practical one: understanding where AI can improve social outcomes and what it takes to use it responsibly at scale.
I studied Economics and Mathematics at the University of Virginia, graduating with distinction in both fields. I'm now pursuing an online M.S. in Enterprise AI at Boston University while continuing graduate coursework in econometrics, labor economics, and health economics at Chicago Booth. Before J-PAL, I researched financial markets at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago.
